When to play Rockerbox News Bingo?

Rockerbox News Bingo is best played throughout the week, with your pupils starting to complete their bingo card on a Monday and having the challenge to tick off all the Rockerbox News subjects before Friday. Rockerbox News Bingo is normally played as part of your Rockerbox News independent reading strategies. You can also use Rockerbox News Bingo as a competition (who can complete their board first?), and as a home learning resource and challenge.

How to play Rockerbox News Bingo

Step 1: Choose your Rockerbox News Bingo challenge levels and download your bingo cards. You may want to laminate the cards so they can be used every week and displayed on a reading wall. 

Step 2: Set the bingo challenge with your class on a Monday. As your pupils read about different subject on Rockerbox News and answer the comprehension questions throughout the week, they stamp their bingo cards. 

Step 3: Leave room in your timetable for Rockerbox News discussion times so that pupils can share the information they've learned! 

Step 4: When a pupil completes their bingo board they can shout 'bingo' to be celebrated by the class 

Step 5: Celebrate all your bingo winners on a Friday with a certificate or a reward! 

Wipe your bingo boards and reset ready compete again the next week.
