Pupil Introduction Activity
Introduce your pupils to Rockerbox News by using our 'Contact The Newsroom' activity.
We do everything we can to help you and your pupils get off to a great start on your Rockerbox News journey. We want them to develop confidence and feel empowered from the moment they first sign in. Our 'Contact The Newsroom' introduction activity is the perfect way to engage your pupils and kickstart the learning experience.
This interactive activity is designed to encourage students to explore the platform independently and find articles and topics that engage and inspire.
Step 1 - Get your pupils to search for our 'Contact the Newsroom' Story
Step 2 - Your pupils can now follow the instructions in the story
- Start With a Search: Use the ‘Search Rockerbox News’ tab to find stories about things you love. Are you into trains? Then just type ‘trains’ and hit enter. Are you a big fan of football? Search for ‘football’ and find out what we have already published on the platform.
- Request Stories: If you can’t find stories about something you search for, why not ask us to create it? If you want to know more about brand-new technology in space, ask us to write about it. How about an article about a famous local tradition like cheese rolling? Just let The Newsroom know.
- How to Request Content: Your teacher or guardians can help with this. Ask them to help you get in touch with us by : sending a list or downloading our News Request template. * Please send any story requests to your School Success Manager who will pass on to the Newsroom.
- Enjoy: When the story launches on Rockerbox News we’ll let you know. Have a good read, enjoy the article and share it with your friends.
Please keep in mind that not all story requests will be accepted. The Rockerbox Newsroom will carefully consider your requests. You will receive a response within 3 working days to let you know if any of your requests will be used.
