Print stories from Rockerbox News

1-2 new stories each week are available to download at each of our 5+ reading levels.

You might not always have access to online devices, could have pupils in your class who find learning offline more accessible or are working with pupils who sometimes get tech fatigue.

That's why we make 1 or 2 of our timely articles each week available to download. Our current affairs roundups and articles that link to Rockerbox Reading Ladders lessons are always available to print. We'll select another top theme from the week as well.

Here is how to quickly download and print Rockerbox News articles at our 5+ reading levels:

  1. Log in to your Teacher Portal
  2. Click the 'Articles' tab at the top of the Teacher Portal
  3. When searching for printable stories, make sure to look for the ones marked with a PDF icon.

  4. Select the relevant story
  5. Select the reading level that you would like to print
  6. Click 'Print' at the top of the story box
  7. The story will be downloaded to your device at the reading level selected
  8. You are now able to print the story from your device
  9. Repeat for any further reading levels required.
  10. Collect the copies back from your pupils after they have completed the related questions.
  11. To record pupil scores and track their reading strengths and areas of need, log in as each pupil, search for the article they read offline, and record their answers.
